Krystal’s mission is to bring complete holistic healing to each individual she works with by uniquely combining multiple healing modalities together to encourage healing in all facets of the mind, body and soul. Her goals are to cultivate deep healing and help inspire an intrinsic awakening of oneself.
Krystal Gauley has spent most of her life following her heart traveling the world, studying, and learning. In exploring the natural world, engaging in multiple healing modalities, and learning about numerous cultures and spirituality, she has uniquely found a way to weave them all together into a beautiful tapestry that she calls her life.
Krystal’s education began at Pikes Peak Community College, earning an AS in Natural Resources. She concurrently attended Wildland Firefighting Academy. Working on environmental projects, she helped create the Red Rock Canyon Ecosystem management plan out of Colorado Springs. During this time, she developed important outdoor and survival skills working as a park ranger, trails crewman, and wildland firefighter.
For a brief intermission within her first degree, she obtained her massage certification at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy. She received additional training specializing in neuromuscular therapy, injury rehabilitation and deep tissue massage. In later years, she returned to the Institute with the privilege to teach theory classes, assist with technique classes and supervise marketing and sporting events.
In 2010, Krystal furthered her studies by attending Fort Lewis College to obtain a BA in Psychology. During this time Krystal unexpectedly discovered herself following the path of the archetypal wounded healer. Battling her demons, befriending her shadow and seeking her higher self, she found herself supported by mentors and opportunities that offered healing, guidance, and direction. It was also within this period of time that she began reawakening clairvoyant and clairsentient gifts that she once held strongly as a child. Before she could recognize her period of initiation, she was attending sweat lodges and ceremony with the Southern Utes out of Durango, CO and working closely with a member and dear friend of hers from the Blackfeet Tribe.
By 2013, Krystal found herself in an excelled year of spiritual growth. After completing an 8-month intensive with Sangoma Gretchen McKay and attending a two-week shamanic intensive with the Foundation of Shamanic Studies, she began to piece her new identity together. Continuing to attend workshops with mentors such as Tom Cowan, Julie Kramer and Besty Bergstrom, she found herself breaking down societal patterns that no longer served her, committing herself to purpose within the collective whole and having a complete egoic breakdown. Arising out of the ashes of her old self she arose anew.
Krystal was determined to use her transformative education for the healing and betterment of others. Putting her various skills as a healer and her wilderness background to use, she organized and lead a yoga trek expedition to Mt. Everest Base Camp in the fall of 2016. She plunged her group into an external and internal pilgrimage. Guiding the group through a strenuous journey, Krystal was able to bring each participant to a deeper understanding about themselves, transformative healing, and life-long friendships.
Determined to honor her path, ancestors and Celtic/Yakut lineage, she continues to study their ancient ways. In 2015, Krystal began her studies within the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids. Currently in Ovate training, she continues to immerse herself in nature and explore alternative healing modalities through the knowledge of the Ogham alphabet, seasonal cycles, and herbology. During her ongoing studies, Krystal works out of Haines & Skagway, AK and performs shamanic healings for clients all over the world.
